Quantic Dream’s upcoming MOBA is opening its doors for a closed beta weekend in just a couple of weeks, but only a few players will make the cut

Quantic Dream is set to unveil its latest venture, Spellcasters Chronicles, an action-packed MOBA that invites players to engage in thrilling three-on-three battles. Teams will not only face off against one another but will also contend with waves of grunts and mythical creatures, all vying for control of the game map. Following an enjoyable preview, anticipation is building as the game prepares for its public debut.

Closed Beta Details

From December 4 at 3 PM UTC to December 8 at 9 AM UTC, players across Europe and North America will have the opportunity to experience Spellcasters Chronicles firsthand. During this closed beta, participants can explore the game’s mechanics and features, offering valuable feedback to the developers.

Players will have the chance to choose from six unique spellcasters:

  • Duelists: The Swamp Witch and the Astral Monk
  • Conquerers: The Iron Sorcerer and Fire Elementalist
  • Enchanters: The Mystic Scribe and Stone Shaman

Each character comes equipped with a diverse array of decks, expendable summons, and special abilities. Notably, every spellcaster possesses an ultimate ability that accumulates power throughout the match, culminating in the ability to summon a titan—a colossal creature capable of wreaking havoc on the battlefield.

While not all applicants for the closed beta will gain access, those who do not receive an invitation will remain eligible for future testing phases. A press release highlights the importance of this closed beta in refining the game through player insights. Following this initial phase, a second closed beta is planned for early next year, promising expanded content, new spellcasters, arenas, incantations, and summons.

As Spellcasters Chronicles continues its journey toward early access, each new phase will introduce additional gameplay features and further develop the community-driven narrative that lies at the heart of the game. Interested players can stay informed through the game’s Steam page or the official website, ensuring they don’t miss out on this exciting new title from Quantic Dream.
