Developer Lost Lighthouse has unveiled its inaugural project, a first-person horror game titled The Day I Will Die, set to launch on PC. The narrative unfolds in the picturesque yet eerie Little Red Valley, a mountain town steeped in nostalgia, where elements of pop culture, urban legends, and classic horror tales converge.
Exploring Little Red Valley
As described by Lost Lighthouse, The Day I Will Die immerses players in a remote valley, enveloped in a shroud of mist and isolated from the outside world. Here, time is an endless loop, creating an atmosphere ripe for exploration. Players will traverse familiar landscapes reminiscent of childhood memories—winding forest trails and ancient stone bridges—each evoking a sense of nostalgia.
However, this journey is not merely a stroll down memory lane. The game introduces a darker twist, as players encounter entities drawn from the rich tapestry of late ’70s and early ’80s horror lore. These beings, once confined to the realm of urban legend and pop culture, now manifest as tangible threats, challenging players to confront their deepest fears and unfulfilled ambitions.
While no specific release date or window has been disclosed, enthusiasts are encouraged to add The Day I Will Die to their Steam wishlists to stay updated on its development progress.
