The Epic Games Store on Android now supports third-party games

The Epic Games Store on Android has finally opened its doors to third-party games, expanding its offerings beyond just Epic-developed titles. Players can now enjoy a diverse selection of games such as Blade of God X, Super Meat Boy Forever Mobile, Samorost 3, The Grand Mafia, and more.

Some of these games are free, while others will require payment. This marks the first wave of third-party games being added to the Epic Games Store on mobile, with more games expected to join the lineup over time. Currently, there are nearly 20 third-party games available, in addition to popular titles like Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and Fall Guys.

In addition to third-party games, the Epic Games Store on mobile is also getting free games

Not just free-to-play games, but actually free games that would normally come with a price tag. Epic is introducing its Free Games Program to mobile devices, starting with Bloons TD 6 and Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee for Android and iOS. These games typically cost .99 and .99, so players are saving money by grabbing them for free.

The selection of free games will change periodically, giving players the opportunity to expand their game libraries. New games will be added each month, but users will need to act fast as the free games will only be available for a limited time. The current free games will be replaced on February 20 at 8AM PT.

New games will be offered each month, but only temporarily

Looking ahead, Epic plans to switch to a weekly schedule for adding new free games later this year. While this means more free games for players, it also means they will have less time to claim each title before it’s replaced. Players are advised to regularly check the Epic Games Store app to ensure they don’t miss out on any free games that catch their interest.
