Linux Gaming Takes a Step Forward with Xodus Project

According to its GitHub page, “Xodus is an open-source reverse-engineering effort to make Xbox PC games (including GamePass) run on Linux and Mac systems. We handle everything needed to get GDK-based Xbox titles running outside of Windows.” This project is not officially endorsed by Microsoft, which introduces a layer of uncertainty; even if Xodus achieves its goals, Microsoft retains the ability to disrupt compatibility at any moment.
