Android 15’s first monthly software update is finally rolling out now

November marks the arrival of the first monthly software update for Android 15, just weeks after its initial rollout. Google has begun distributing this update, which encompasses a range of fixes and enhancements, including the latest security patch.

The rollout is being implemented in phases, starting today for devices running Android 15. Users can expect a notification when the update is available for their device, although it can also be manually checked by navigating to Settings > System > Software updates.

This month’s update addresses several key areas:

    • A fix for the Bluetooth range issue affecting the Pixel 9 series under specific conditions.
  • Camera
    • Resolution of the camera tilt issue observed when zooming between cameras on the Pixel 9 series.
  • Display and Graphics
    • Correction of the flashing white dots issue affecting the Pixel 9 series.
    • Fix for screen brightness flickering on the Pixel 8a.
  • Sensors
    • Addressing the occasional failure of Adaptive brightness activation on the Pixel 9 series.
  • Touch
    • Resolution of the keyboard dismiss button issue on the Pixel 9 series.
  • User Interface
    • General performance and stability improvements across various UI transitions and animations for multiple Pixel models, including the Pixel 6 through Pixel 9 series.
