In our testing, we found that when this option is disabled, third-party calendar apps are unable to access Google Calendar entries. While this feature may seem niche, it opens up possibilities for users who wish to integrate data from other applications without granting them full access to their Google Calendar. This could be particularly beneficial for those who prioritize privacy and seek to keep their calendar information secure.
A Fresh Look with Google Sans Flex
In addition to the privacy enhancements, Google Calendar appears to be experimenting with a new font, known as Google Sans Flex.
