A recent leak has unveiled a glimpse into the Galaxy Glasses manager app, which is poised to become the central hub for managing Samsung’s upcoming smart glasses. This application will facilitate everything from installing updates to adjusting settings, ensuring users have a seamless experience with their new eyewear.
According to reports from SammyGuru, the app will guide users through the pairing process upon opening, requiring necessary permissions to connect with the smart glasses. The initial screens showcase the Warby Parker model and highlight a splash screen for One UI XR, Samsung’s customized interface for Google’s Android XR platform. The app’s main interface will feature menu options including Camera, AI assistants, Read notifications aloud, Advanced features, Accessibility, and Find my glasses. While there may be additional settings available, access to them will depend on a connection to the glasses themselves. Notably, users will also have the option to automatically import photos and videos taken with their eyewear.

The second leak sheds light on the intuitive buttons and gestures that will enhance user interaction with the Galaxy Glasses. A series of videos demonstrate these functionalities, which include familiar gestures for music control. Users can swipe backward or forward with a single finger to navigate through tracks, while adding a second finger adjusts the volume—swiping back lowers it, and swiping forward raises it.
For media playback, tapping the touchpad will pause or resume content, and this same action will be used to answer incoming calls. Additionally, a button located at the top of the arm, near the hinge, serves as the camera trigger. A single press captures a photo, while a long press initiates video recording, requiring another press to stop. To keep users informed, the Galaxy Glasses will feature two LED lights: one facing outward to signal to those nearby that recording is in progress, and another facing the user to indicate the camera’s active status.
