Qobuz Launches Android TV App

Qobuz has unveiled a new Android TV app, marking a significant enhancement in how users can access its extensive music catalog directly from their television screens. This innovative app is readily available for download on the Google Play Store.

Features and Functionality

The app offers seamless access to the entire Qobuz library, which includes a vast array of playlists, albums, and user favorites. Additionally, it showcases selections curated by Qobuz’s editorial teams, alongside personalized recommendations designed to cater to individual musical tastes. Users can enjoy all music in lossless, CD, and Hi-Res quality, ensuring an exceptional listening experience. The interface has been thoughtfully optimized for easy navigation on larger screens, enhancing user engagement.

Another noteworthy feature is Qobuz Connect, which enables users to control playback remotely via their smartphones or tablets while the audio plays through the TV. This functionality adds a layer of convenience, allowing for a more flexible listening experience.

“Our users have been asking us for Android TV for a long time,” stated Axel Destagnol, Chief Product Officer at Qobuz. “This app embodies our desire to be accessible wherever people listen to music, from headphones to the living room, while preserving what makes Qobuz unique: audio quality and editorial richness.”

The app is compatible with all televisions and devices equipped with Google TV, further broadening its accessibility.
