Samsung’s Galaxy AI widens its language support to even more places

What you need to know

In a significant move to enhance user experience, Samsung has announced that its Galaxy AI now supports a total of 22 languages, welcoming Gujarati and Filipino into its repertoire. This expansion is designed to better serve users in these regions, ensuring they can access valuable features like Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, and Note Assist, no matter where they find themselves.

In addition to this exciting language support, Samsung has also introduced Gemini Live to the Galaxy S25 series. This update allows users to engage with Google’s AI for real-time visual assistance, making it easier to navigate conversations and receive answers as they switch topics. The functionality can be activated effortlessly by pressing and holding the side button on the device.

Amidst these developments, Samsung has reassured Galaxy phone owners that its core AI features will remain free of charge. This commitment comes after speculation over potential subscription fees for Galaxy AI features, which had circulated earlier this year. Unlike some competitors in the market, Samsung has chosen to keep essential tools like Live Translate and Note Assist accessible to all users, reinforcing its dedication to providing value without additional costs.
