Enrolled users are encouraged to check for the update by navigating to Settings > System > System Updates throughout the day. In addition, Google has announced that testing for Android 15 QPR1 will commence soon, which is expected to include the December feature drop for Android 15. This new testing phase will build upon the bug fixes and improvements introduced in the beta version.

Notably, Pixel owners who participated in the original Android 15 beta testing will not need to exit the program to gain access to QPR1 testing. However, those interested in receiving the stable version of Android 15 will need to opt out of the program, with Google providing clear instructions on how to do so without losing any data.

As the final Android 15 beta update rolls out and QPR1 testing approaches, many users anticipate that September will mark the launch of the finished product. Throughout the testing process, it has become clear that Google is focused on enhancing various features and optimizing performance within Android 15. While significant UI or design changes may not be on the horizon, these smaller refinements promise to contribute to a more polished overall operating system. With the update seemingly on track for September, users remain hopeful that the wait will yield a rewarding experience.
