Google’s Gemini Ultra AI Enhances Gmail Experience for Android Users
In a world where time is of the essence, Google is reportedly refining the email experience for its Gemini Advanced subscribers. The latest development suggests that the Gmail app for Android may soon feature AI-powered reply suggestions, designed to streamline the process of responding to emails.
A collaborative report from PiunikaWeb and AssembleDebug has uncovered this feature within the Gmail app. It appears that when a user opts to reply to an email, a panel titled “Reply suggestions from Gemini” emerges, offering tailored responses that reflect the content of the email received.
These reply suggestions, while not fully exploiting the capabilities of Gemini’s generative AI, offer a quick alternative to typing out responses. Users can either send these suggested replies as they are or customize them further for a more personalized touch.
Back in February, Google made headlines by integrating its Gemini Ultra AI into the suite of Google Workspace applications. This integration allows users to leverage AI functionalities across Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Meet. The service is available through the Google One AI Premium plan, which is priced at Rs. 1,950 per month in India and .99 per month in the US. Google is also offering a two-month trial of the service at no cost as part of a promotional deal.
Subscribers to the Google One AI Premium plan not only gain access to Gemini Ultra and its AI features but also enjoy a generous 2TB of storage across Google Photos, Google Drive, and Gmail, along with other premium benefits.
