Global Expansion of Microsoft Rewards and Enhanced Features
Microsoft’s acclaimed Microsoft Rewards program is making headlines as it broadens its horizon, now reaching over 230 regions and countries globally. This expansion covers areas such as Morocco and Israel, making the program a truly global phenomenon and embracing all seven continents.
In a move that enhances the user experience, Microsoft has introduced new features that cater to the daily streak bonuses. These features include streak restore and protection capabilities, ensuring that users can maintain their engagement and rewards accumulation with greater ease.
Furthermore, there is exciting news for philanthropically inclined users. The ability to donate Microsoft Reward points has now been extended to over 200 markets, allowing participants to support a wide range of charities numbering over 1.8 million.
Microsoft Rewards, a program that has been a favorite among tech enthusiasts, allows users to accumulate points through the use of Microsoft products and services such as Bing and Microsoft Edge. These points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including shopping perks.
Despite facing some changes, such as the introduction of a “cooldown period” limiting point accumulation to three searches per 15 minutes, the program remains a staple for loyal users. These adjustments are part of Microsoft’s strategic updates aimed at refining the rewards system and fostering program growth.
The company has also announced that it will be sunsetting the Xbox Rewards app come April, to be replaced by a simplified hub. This move will see the end of the popular weekly streaks, but the improvements to the Microsoft Rewards program are poised to compensate for this change.
Enhancements to the program include the ability to restore a streak once every 60 days, and for those with a streak surpassing 100 days, the ability to restore it monthly. The streak protection feature acts as a safety net, granting users up to 14 days per calendar year to keep their streaks intact without it counting against their available days.
Pick Up a New Language with Bing and Microsoft Edge
In an innovative partnership, Microsoft has teamed up with language learning platform Duolingo. Microsoft Rewards members now have the opportunity to unlock three months of Super Duolingo for free. To avail of this educational perk, members simply need to search the internet using Microsoft Bing on the Edge browser for three consecutive days.
As Microsoft continues to diversify its offerings and enhance user engagement, the Microsoft Rewards program stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to its users and their experiences with Microsoft products and services.
