New Retro Collection Brings Three SNES Classics To Modern Consoles and PC

Red Art Games will release the Joe & Mac Retro Collection on October 29th, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Pre-orders are available on the Red Art Games website, including a special Rock Edition Collector’s Edition with additional items like a reverse cover, booklet, double-sided poster, prehistoric badges, an acrylic stand, and a sticker sheet. The collection includes three games: Joe & Mac Caveman Ninja, Congo’s Caper, and Joe & Mac Lost in the Tropics, along with features like a "Boss Rush" mode and local two-player co-op. The collection will also include modern enhancements for a better gaming experience.

Microsoft had to change the anti-piracy hologram on the Windows 95 box because an undisclosed government assumed the baby on it was naked

The original Windows 95 packaging featured two distinct anti-piracy holograms, which served as marks of authenticity. One hologram depicted a shirtless child pointing at a Microsoft logo, which raised concerns from a government entity, leading Microsoft to create a revised version with the child dressed in a shirt and overalls and altering the child's pose. The original hologram has become a collector's item, especially after a recent YouTube short featuring it gained popularity. The child in the hologram would now be in their mid-30s.

An ultra-rare piece of Microsoft history could be hiding on your shelf

Rare red Tetris stickers and a shirtless child hologram from Windows 95 are sought-after collectibles from Microsoft's early days. The Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Windows, launched in 1990, initially featured a sticker instead of a printed Tetris promotion due to unresolved licensing rights at the time of the first print run. The later versions incorporated the sticker into the box art. Master the elements in Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, out now on PC, PS5, and Switch (with surprise delay for Xbox)

Gameplay Group International, Paramount Games Studio, and Avatar Studios have released Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for .99. The Xbox version has been postponed until September 3. The game is a 2D, 1v1 fighting game set in the Avatar universe, featuring 12 playable characters, including Aang, Sokka, Katara, Korra, and Zuko, with hand-drawn animations. It includes a single-player Story Mode, Training Mode, Lessons, Trials, Online Ranked and Casual lobbies, and local multiplayer options. The game is available in Standard and Deluxe Editions, priced at .99, with the Deluxe Edition offering additional content. A physical edition and a version for the Switch 2 are planned for later this year. The game has an E10+ rating for Fantasy Violence.
