Gameplay Group International, Paramount Games Studio, and Avatar Studios have unveiled their latest creation, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for .99. However, fans awaiting the Xbox version will have to exercise a bit more patience, as its release has been postponed until September 3, a delay humorously attributed to the Fire Nation.
Immersive Gameplay Experience
Set in the beloved universe of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, this classic 2D, 1v1 fighting game features a roster of 12 playable characters, including fan favorites such as Aang, Sokka, Katara, Korra, and Zuko, all rendered in vibrant hand-drawn animations.
Players can dive into a rich single-player Story Mode crafted by the original creators of the show, allowing them to explore the narrative while mastering the unique abilities of each element-wielding fighter. The game also offers a Training Mode, Lessons, and Trials to help players hone their skills. For those seeking competition, both Online Ranked and Casual lobbies are available, along with local multiplayer options for face-to-face battles.

Avatar Legends is offered in two editions: the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition, priced at .99. The Deluxe Edition includes a digital art book, soundtrack, and the Year 1 Pass, which grants access to five post-launch DLC characters and additional character colors.
For collectors, a physical edition is on the horizon, alongside a version for the anticipated Switch 2, both set to launch later this year. The game carries an E10+ rating, featuring Fantasy Violence, ensuring it is accessible to a wide audience.
