Google Wallet for Android adds 12th digital state ID

Google Wallet has expanded to support Oklahoma state IDs on Android devices, making Oklahoma the 13th state to offer digital ID options. The digital ID includes design elements like the American Bison and scissor-tailed flycatcher. Sharing the digital ID maintains privacy, requiring users to verify their identity through various methods. The digital ID is accepted at select airports by the TSA, but users must still carry their physical ID. The feature requires an Android device with version 8 or higher, a screen lock, and Bluetooth enabled. Users can delete their digital ID from Google Wallet at any time.
