Marvel Tōkon’s developer has apologised to PC players for the beta’s performance issues, with only a week until launch

The beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls lasted three days and faced significant challenges, including PlayStation Network outages on launch day and performance issues for PC players, such as severe stuttering and poor optimization. Some players reported a seamless experience, while others criticized the PC port as one of the worst in recent times. Arc System Works acknowledged the issues and is investigating solutions, promising updates and providing troubleshooting options. Xbox Owners Get Free PC Copies Of Select Ubisoft Games

Ubisoft is offering Xbox players free PC versions of thirteen select games they own digitally on their consoles, accessible through the Ubisoft Connect app on PC. Most editions and downloadable content (DLC) purchased on console will transfer to PC, but in-game currency and one-time-use content may not be included. The offer does not apply in reverse; owning the PC version does not grant access to the console version.

Ubisoft Gives Free PC Copies to Xbox Owners of Select Games

Ubisoft is offering Xbox owners complimentary access to a selection of Ubisoft titles on PC through Ubisoft Connect until August 4th. The included games are: - Assassin’s Creed Mirage - Assassin’s Creed Valhalla - Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Far Cry 6 - Immortals Fenyx Rising - Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - Riders Republic - Skull and Bones - The Crew 2 - The Crew Motorfest - Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction - Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege These titles will appear in players' Ubisoft Connect library by next week if their accounts are linked. Players who purchase any of these games on Xbox will also receive access to the PC version, but not vice versa. Ubisoft has also introduced premium editions of its games to Xbox's PC app. Xbox has been integrating PC gaming, recently making select backward-compatible titles available on PC.

First look: Per-app zoom controls on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8, with pre-orders underway. A new feature in One UI 9 stable allows individual zoom controls for apps, enhancing user experience. This capability, initially found in the firmware of the Z Fold 8 Ultra, is now available as a Labs option on the standard Z Fold 8, accessible through Settings -> Advanced features -> Labs. Users can choose from five different zoom levels for each app, although Samsung's own apps are not currently supported. Testing shows varying results in different applications, with Chrome and Google Maps exhibiting different scaling behaviors. There are questions about whether this feature will remain exclusive to the Z Fold 8 and if it will be available across all devices in the Z8 lineup after retail sales begin on August 7.
