Non-linear ghost story adventure game Remaining Grace announced for PC

ambedo studios, led by Quintin Pan, is developing a non-linear ghost story adventure game titled Remaining Grace, set to release on PC and Mac via Steam. The game explores themes of chosen family and human connections through the narrative of Grace Tao and spans three distinct time periods. Players will experience the story through a diverse cast, unraveling the mystery of Grace's death and her relationships with various characters, including her immigrant parents and childhood friends. The game features a unique pencil sketch art style and is set in an alternate-history version of North America called Turtle Island, where colonization never occurred. Minecraft-themed rice paddy art reaches peak viewing in Japan’s Gyoda

The rice paddy art at Ancient Lotus Park in Gyoda, Saitama, features a design inspired by the video game Minecraft. The artwork measures approximately 180 meters in length and 165 meters in width and can be viewed from the 50-meter tall Gyoda Tower. Around 1,000 volunteers planted rice seedlings in four colors, including the "Sai no kizuna" variety, to create recognizable characters from the game and a pixelated version of Gyoda Tower. The prime viewing period is expected to last until mid-October. Admission to the tower is 400 yen for high school students and adults, 200 yen for elementary and junior high students, and free for preschool children. Xbox 360 Games Are Reportedly Coming To PC As Well

Microsoft is planning to enhance the gaming experience by integrating Xbox 360 games onto PC platforms and its upcoming Project Helix console, which will support backward compatibility. Developers will have the option to set their own pricing for PC versions of games and include them in the Game Pass subscription service. 5 Classic PC Games That Are Unplayable Today

"Dune II," released in 1992, is credited with laying the foundation for real-time strategy games, featuring base-building and military maneuvers on the planet Arrakis. It has not been re-released due to licensing issues after Westwood Studios closed in 2003. Interplay Entertainment released two video games based on "The Lord of the Rings" in the early '90s, allowing players to guide Frodo Baggins through Middle-earth.
