Signal Veil, A Survival Horror Game Inspired by ’90s Anime, Announced for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox X|S, & PC

A new psychological survival horror game titled Signal Veil is being developed by the Chilean studio Time Hunters in collaboration with Tokyo-based publisher Serafini Productions. It will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game features a ’90s anime aesthetic and follows Aki Mizuno, a teenage girl searching for her missing mother at Nishikawa High School. Aki inherits a supernatural cellphone that helps her detect spirits and interact with the environment. The gameplay includes fixed camera angles reminiscent of classic survival horror games, strategic combat with limited resources, and ritual-like enemy encounters. An official release date has not been announced, but players can add it to their digital wishlists.

Localthunk, the creator of the game Balatro, clarified that a project speculated to be connected to Balatro is not affiliated with it and that he is currently working on a content update for Balatro. Exophase has reported a surge of achievement lists, including unverified titles like Persona 6, Deus Ex Remastered, and Kingdom Hearts 4. Persona 6's achievements list has raised concerns about potential spoilers, as Atlus has not released any gameplay footage. There are rumors of a follow-up to Balatro being non-existent and credible rumors of a new campaign titled The Tarnished Mirror for Thief: The Dark Project Remastered. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife opens fall quota hunt applications – The Advocate-Messenger

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources has opened applications for fall quota hunts, including deer, waterfowl, pheasants, and sandhill cranes. Applications can be submitted through the MyProfile online portal until midnight (CT) on September 30. A minimum fee is required per application, and applicants will receive a confirmation number. Results will be posted online by 5 p.m. ET on October 9, 2026. The quota system includes 38 deer quota hunts, waterfowl hunts at five locations, pheasant hunts at three WMAs, and statewide permits for sandhill cranes. Mentored options for youth, mobility-impaired hunts, and a maximum of 10 percent nonresident participation in deer hunts are also included. Selected hunters must purchase necessary licenses and permits before hunting.
