Steam Users Have Limited Time to Claim 2 Games Completely Free of Charge

Steam has reintroduced its Free-to-Keep Promotion for May 2026, featuring two new titles: Moonrise Fall, an exploration puzzle game, and IQ Under Construction, a puzzle-solving game. Players can claim these games for free and keep them permanently if claimed before the deadline. Drift86, a drifting racing game, is also part of the promotion and will be available until June 3. In 1998, Ritual Entertainment launched the first-person shooter Sin, which was highly anticipated due to its backing by John Romero. However, just a month after its release, Valve's Half-Life debuted, overshadowing Sin with its innovative storytelling and design. Ritual faced internal struggles with its publisher, Activision, including a lack of support and a critical oversight where the gold master of Sin was not tested, resulting in a disabled first boss. This led to negative reviews and diminished success for Sin. Despite these challenges, a remaster titled Sin: Reloaded has been developed by Nightdive, although a release date is not yet confirmed.

007 First Light: Here Are The Full PC Specs And Requirements

Developer IO Interactive has announced the PC specifications and requirements for the game 007 First Light, which will launch on May 27. The game features an uncapped framerate, Nvidia DLSS 4.5, path tracing for realistic lighting and shadows, and DLSS ray reconstruction, which will be introduced later this summer. It also offers in-depth customization options for players. Battlefield 6 is bringing back a 13-year old map, and it looks incredible

Players can look forward to the reimagined Golmud Railway map in Season 3 of Battlefield 6, originally launched in 2013 as the largest map in Battlefield 4. The new version, set in Tajikistan, aims to enhance gameplay by addressing limitations of the original, featuring a strategic battle for control of a moving train that advances toward enemy headquarters. The map will offer a more immersive environment with an expanded layout for infantry and vehicle combat, improved traversal for players without vehicles, and opportunities for aerial combat. Significant terrain adjustments have been made for balance, including repositioning the mountain range and modifying boundaries. The launch date is expected to be Tuesday, May 12.
