Building the Ultimate Game Night: Domino’s® and Minecraft Dungeons II Team Up for a Block-Shaped Collaboration

Domino’s Pizza Inc. is launching a promotion in conjunction with the release of Minecraft Dungeons II starting October 26. Windows Server 2025 gets support for quick machine recovery

Microsoft To Block ReFS-Formatted USB Drives And External Storage On Windows Starting January 2027

Starting in January 2027, Windows will block ReFS-formatted USB drives and external storage devices by default as part of a security initiative. Users with ReFS-formatted external storage should consider transferring their files to a supported format before the deadline. Additionally, Microsoft has introduced a registry and Group Policy setting, RefsRemovableDeviceMountPolicy, to allow for configurable restrictions.

His scanner wouldn’t work on Linux — so he let Claude study the Windows driver

Christian Schaller, an engineering director at Red Hat, faced challenges digitizing family negatives with a Plustek OpticFilm 8200i scanner due to Linux driver incompatibility. After pausing the project, he successfully scanned using a new strategy and launched an open-source initiative called hw-harness to help developers tackle hardware lacking Linux support.
