DLsite parent company’s new cloud engine-based service for playing PC titles via mobile launches on August 26

viviON, the parent company of DLsite, will launch its cloud gaming service, viviON Games, on August 26. This service allows users to play PC games on their smartphones using the OOParts cloud gaming engine, eliminating the need for downloads. It aims to enhance accessibility for players and developers, adopting a one-time purchase model. Leading up to the launch, viviON Games is revealing one game per day on its X account, with the first title being Daidai’s adventure horror game, The Aquarium Does Not Dance. A demo showcased various titles, including Yomawari: Lost in the Dark and One Way Heroics Plus, though the final launch lineup is yet to be confirmed.

Cursed Doll Horror Game Baptiste Hits Switch 2, PS5, Xbox, and PC This Fall

Spanish publisher Firenut Games and co-developer Digital Dreams™ announced the psychological horror game Baptiste, set to launch in fall 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The announcement was made on August 19, 2026, alongside a gameplay trailer and a free demo available on Steam. The game follows Tom, a teenager dealing with his father's death, who discovers a cursed doll in a mansion that leads to supernatural events. Baptiste features a darkness mechanic that intensifies horror elements based on the protagonist's exposure to darkness. The game requires high-performance hardware, with recommended specs including an Intel i9 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. Baptiste successfully raised €6,118 through a Kickstarter campaign in October 2025. It will support audio in English and Spanish, with interface and subtitle options in 11 languages. A free demo is currently available on Steam, covering the first 30 minutes of gameplay.

Sword & Shield Simulator Now Available on PC

Sword & Shield Simulator is a PC game currently in Early Access, developed by Wildlands Interactive and co-published with Ultimate Games S.A. Players assume the role of a medieval blacksmith, forging weapons and armor while gathering resources from battlefields. The game features advanced blacksmithing mechanics, including modular sword and shield assembly, and incorporates resource gathering activities like tree felling, hunting, and mining. The game world consists of three regions—Danburg, Bloodlands, and Grainmill—offering over 140 story missions and side quests. Future updates will add the Talstein region and new content. Unofficial Native PC Version of Ace Combat 6 Released

An unofficial native PC version of Ace Combat 6 has been released, allowing PC gamers to play the game without emulators. This port uses the ReXGlue SDK to convert the original Xbox 360 PowerPC code into x86-64 code, enhancing graphics and performance to 60 FPS with improved terrain resolution. Charges were also brought against three secondary uploaders from aggregator sites.
