Google has allowed gaming on Android Auto – but there is an important restriction

Google has officially opened the games category for Android Auto and Android Automotive OS to the public. Games can only be played when the car is parked, with sound automatically muted when the car starts moving. Games are launched directly on the car screen and can be controlled via touch display or gamepads. Devices running Android 15 or later are required to play games on Android Auto, and games must be adapted to the car format and pass Google's review. Developers are encouraged to adapt games for different car displays.

Minecraft is moving into American Dream — but it won’t stay forever

East Rutherford, N.J. will host "Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue" starting November 13 at American Dream. This interactive adventure allows guests to explore eight realms inspired by the game over the course of one hour, where they will collect resources and work together to rescue Minecraft villagers. Participants will use an Orb of Interaction to engage with the environment and encounter various Minecraft creatures. Tickets go on sale October 1, with individual tickets priced from .99 and multipack tickets starting at .99 per person. The experience is temporary and part of a touring production, with no closing date announced. American Dream also features attractions like Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and DreamWorks Water Park, and plans to introduce a "Five Nights at Freddy’s"-themed attraction in the future.

Minecraft Dungeons II – The Cheapest Australian Day One Bargains

Minecraft Dungeons II is set to launch on Tuesday, September 29th, and will be available on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A retail copy for the original Switch will be released a few weeks later. All retail versions will be the Deluxe Edition, which includes digital extras. GamePass Ultimate subscribers can access the game from day one. Target and Big W are offering competitive launch prices, including free metro shipping. Pre-ordering grants exclusive bonuses such as two hero skins, a Twisted Cape, and a Twisted Chicken Pet. The Deluxe Edition includes additional downloadable content (DLCs) and unique hero skins. The Industrial Revolution is the reason RPGs have area-of-effect spells: A PC Gamer Causality Chain™

Causality Chain is a series at PC Gamer that explores the connections between history, culture, and video games. The concept of area-of-effect spells in video games began to develop in the 1980s, with the Wizardry series introducing spells that could target multiple enemies. Ultima 3 featured a noxum spell that allowed for multiple fireballs aimed at different foes, and by 1985, Ultima 4 included a tremor spell affecting all adversaries on screen. Wizard's Crown, released in 1986, showcased a fireball affecting surrounding enemies, and Ultima 5 added cone-shaped spells in 1988. That same year, SSI acquired the license to create official D&D games, leading to the release of Pool of Radiance, which introduced a true area-of-effect fireball spell that could harm party members.

Rogue Trader is coming to an end with miracles, madness and ‘tears of blood’

The expansion, titled Processional of the Damned, will introduce a new storyline and companion, integrating into the existing narrative. Stella's attributes include crying tears of blood, possessing unstable powers, being potentially heretical, and being described as a living weapon.
