PS1 Classic Syphon Filter Gets an Unofficial PC Port

Syphon Filter, originally released on PlayStation in 1999, has been unofficially ported to PC. This version features an English launcher with game-image selection, internal resolution adjustments, aspect mode and fullscreen options, MSAA, and filtering options. It supports both keyboard and mouse as well as gamepad controls, with day-one keyboard and mouse support included. The port enhances visuals with dynamic scene lighting and realistic shadows, while restoring the original HUD, inventory systems, objectives, and weapon menus. Visual issues related to pickups and grenade effects have been fixed, and weapon muzzle flashes have been reinstated.

Meet the Alexander and Eliza of the Hamilton Minecraft remake

A fan-driven rendition of the musical Hamilton, created in Minecraft and titled "Schamilton," has garnered over 1.4 million views on YouTube. Casting began in late October 2025, with both actors submitting audition tapes. The rehearsal process involved traditional production elements adapted for Minecraft, including specific character movements. The live performance was streamed without edits, using vanilla Minecraft and pre-recorded audio to address latency issues. Both actors expressed surprise and gratitude for the overwhelming support from viewers.

Minecraft Dungeons 2

Mojang is developing Minecraft Dungeons 2, a sequel that enhances the original game's mechanics and introduces an interconnected world for exploration. The game features multiplayer cooperative play for up to four players, improved matchmaking, and full cross-platform play at launch. New gameplay elements include a mini-inventory for loadout adjustments, the ability to jump and execute jump attacks, and a guiding line for navigation. Microsoft wants AI to customize your Windows 11 entirely with one sentence, shows off a demo

At Build 2026, Microsoft announced plans to enhance Windows 11 personalization through AI agents, with API endpoints available for developers to create tailored experiences. Product Manager Samantha Song highlighted the need for a more user-friendly interface that reflects individual preferences, noting current customization options can be cumbersome. Microsoft introduced "WinUI skills," enabling developers to use AI agents like Copilot to create native applications that interact with Windows APIs. Users could instruct AI to modify themes, such as creating a cherry blossom theme, which would adjust wallpapers and accent colors automatically. AI skills could also apply accent colors to File Explorer and download themed wallpapers. The theme module can orchestrate multiple actions, allowing users to change their entire Windows theme with a single command. Microsoft is exploring a themes agent for generating new themes. While currently an open-source project, there is potential for these features to be integrated into Windows 11, enhancing user experience through personalized customization.
