Blizzard is keeping secrets about Diablo 4’s next season until BlizzCon, but you can still try some of it out next week

Blizzard will reveal detailed patch notes for Diablo 4's upcoming season 15 at BlizzCon in September, marking a departure from their usual practice of providing advance details. The season will introduce new seasonal items, returning favorites, and adjustments to the Mythic Unique item system. New features include "Challenge Dungeons," which are boss encounters with customizable difficulty in the open world, and "Overland Ambushes," where players must react quickly to being hunted by a demon. Players can expect new items called "Soul Splinters" that enhance jewelry with damage buffs, and revamped Unique items from previous games, such as Leoric's Crown. The season will also see the return of the "Rebirth" system from Diablo 3 and changes to the Mythic Uniques, including the introduction of weaker, Unique versions of Iconic Mythics. A public test realm (PTR) for these features will be available from August 4 to August 11.

Mistfall Hunter Arrives On Game Pass, Xbox, PC, PS5 – Enter The Gyldenmist At Your Own Risk

Mistfall Hunter has launched on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and is available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Developed by Bellring Games and published by Skystone Games, the game is priced at £22.49 for the Standard Edition and £35.75 for the Deluxe Edition. It combines extraction gameplay with dark fantasy action RPG mechanics, set in a world called Gyldenmist, where players recover Gyldenblood with the help of a character named Dew. The game features third-person combat, six distinct classes, and a free-aim system. Players can embark on solo hunts or form squads of up to three hunters. Future updates will introduce new content, and the game will not include paid stat boosts or pay-to-win mechanics. The Deluxe Edition offers exclusive content, including outfits, backgrounds, earrings, poses, emotes, an avatar, an avatar frame, and Fate Coins.

Stalker 2’s engine upgrade and first story expansion are due out in August

The pre-release review period for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 featured numerous glitches and challenges, including silenced gunfire and stalled quests, but also showcased the game's potential. GSC Game World announced the first story DLC titled "Cost of Hope," which will explore the ideologies of the Zone's factions, Duty and Freedom, and introduce new territories, allies, foes, and weapons. Additionally, a significant 2.0 update will upgrade the game from Unreal Engine 5.1 to 5.5.4, bringing new features and content free for existing players. More details on the DLC and update are expected as the August 20 release date approaches.

A Game About Penguins Set to Waddle Onto PC on 10 August 2026
