Cupid Parasite Otome Game Headed to PC via Steam

Idea Factory International plans to release Cupid Parasite, an otome game, on PC via Steam in 2026. The game features Cupid, the Goddess of Love, disguised as Lynette Mirror, a Bridal Advisor at Cupid Corporation, tasked with helping clients find matches, including a group called the Parasite 5. The narrative unfolds in a romantic comedy format with a reality show twist. A trailer and screenshots showcasing the game's visuals have been released. This marks the first otome game release for PC by Idea Factory International in eight years, following previous titles on Steam. The game was last available on the Nintendo Switch in December 2021, with a follow-up fan disc set to release globally in May 2024.

D3 Publisher’s Next Otome PC Game Is Despera Drops

D3 Publisher has announced the release of the otome visual novel Despera Drops on Steam, scheduled for May 27, 2025. The game was originally launched in Japan in 2023 and later released globally on the Nintendo Switch, with Aksys Games handling the English version for the console. The PC version is developed by Wizardsoft Corporation, with Red Entertainment responsible for the console adaptation. The story follows Mika Amamine, a college student who can perceive thoughts through touch, as she navigates a conspiracy after touching a murder victim. The PC version will feature the main storyline, seven After Stories, compatibility with keyboard and mouse or controller, Steam Cloud save support, and achievements and trading cards.
