ATV Launcher’s latest update brings big home screen upgrades for your Android TV

ATV Launcher has released version 0.1.41 for Android TV, introducing significant updates that enhance aesthetics and functionality. Key features include ten fixed row layouts (Spotlight, Bookends, Centre Stage, Marquee, Hero Trio), the ability to place widgets within app rows (Weather, Digital Clock, System Info, Favorite App, Watch Next, Recommended, and standard Android widgets), and the launch of the "ATV Launcher Digital Clock Widgets" companion app with 15 clock styles. Visual enhancements allow folders to display contents in various preview styles, and the Configure Tile dialog now includes a live preview interface. Google Contacts could soon support a smart new way to share Calling Cards

Google's Contacts app is developing a feature that will allow users to share their Calling Cards with new acquaintances without needing an initial phone call. The latest version of the app (4.88.28.981523105) is integrating Calling Card images into Virtual Contact File (VCF) files, enabling seamless sharing of visual business cards. Users can select the “Share contact” option, which will display the Calling Card image prominently. A new toggle for the Calling Card option will be included by default when choosing details to share. Users can send the enriched VCF file via platforms like Quick Share, WhatsApp, or email. This feature applies to both the user's own Calling Card and those of any contacts in their address book. Recipients can easily import the VCF file in Google Contacts, where the Calling Card image will be displayed. However, recipients need the Google Contacts app to fully import the Calling Card data.

Nothing OS 5.0 has received the Glyph app – three smartphones will not be getting Android 17

Nothing has unveiled Nothing OS 5.0, based on Android 17, which will begin open testing on August 26 for the Phone (3). The public rollout of Nothing OS 5.0 for the Phone (3) is scheduled for mid-October, with other models to follow, while Phone (1), Phone (2), and CMF Phone 1 will not receive the update.
