Hollow Knight Steam concurrent peak hits 71k ahead of Silksong release

Hollow Knight reached a peak of over 71,000 concurrent players on Steam, with 71,083 users at its highest point over the past weekend. The player count remains strong, with over 69,000 currently engaged. This surge represents an increase of nearly 800 percent in the last month, largely due to the announcement of the sequel, Silksong, set to launch on September 4th. Since its launch in 2017, Hollow Knight has sold over 15 million copies. Team Cherry co-founder Ari Gibson stated that the development of Silksong has been progressing smoothly despite concerns about its lengthy process.

Satisfactory’s developers had no idea how popular its 1.0 launch was going to be: ‘We try not to focus too much on that stuff and just make it as big as we possibly can’

The weekend following the launch saw approximately 186,000 concurrent players, and the release stream attracted about 90,000 viewers on YouTube.
