Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear And More Classics Are Getting Remastered

Digital Eclipse is set to release a remastered collection titled Toy Story: Retro Roundup on October 15, featuring 11 games, including nine from the Toy Story series and two from A Bug’s Life, for consoles and PC. The collection includes titles such as Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999), and A Bug’s Life (1998). Enhanced features will include improved rendering, gameplay rewind, and cheats, along with exclusive developer interviews and behind-the-scenes content. Additionally, Toy Story 3: Complete Edition will be released, offering updated visuals and new gameplay options. The collection will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, Switch 2, and PC, with a bundle option for most platforms. There will be no physical release for Xbox.

Nvidia unveiled its RTX Spark superchip on May 31st, combining a 20-core Arm-based Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU, marking its entry into the Windows PC market. The chip features up to 128GB of unified memory, 1 petaflop of AI compute capability, and 6,144 CUDA cores. It will debut in laptops and compact desktops from manufacturers like ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI, with Acer and GIGABYTE expected to follow. Microsoft collaborated with Nvidia to develop new Windows security features for on-device AI agents. The RTX Spark, previously known as N1X, has been in development for three years, with initial reports in 2023 and delays attributed to advancements in Arm technology and notebook demand. Microsoft's Windows on Arm initiative, previously exclusive to Qualcomm, has opened opportunities for MediaTek, Nvidia, and AMD. The RTX Spark aims to enhance local AI applications, with Adobe reengineering its software for the platform and over 100 software vendors supporting it. However, challenges remain, including reliance on x86 emulation and delays in the next-generation Windows on Arm platform. This event is the first Minecraft Live broadcast from a physical convention since MINECON 2016. The LEGO set 21591, The Twisted Warden Battle, was unveiled, featuring 438 pieces and set to release on August 1, 2026, for .99 / £44.99 / €49.99. The set includes four hero minifigures and a buildable Twisted Warden boss figure. The Chaos Cubed update, designated Java Edition 26.2 and Bedrock Edition 26.30, is expected to be released in mid-to-late June 2026.
