Armadillos in Minecraft are found in Savanna biomes and are the primary source of Armadillo Scutes, which are used to craft Wolf Armor. To breed Armadillos, players need at least two adults that are not curled up in a defensive shell. Players attract them using Spider Eyes, and once both are in love mode, they will produce a baby Armadillo. Baby Armadillos take about 20 minutes to mature, and feeding them Spider Eyes can speed up their growth. Once mature, Armadillos drop Armadillo Scutes, which can be collected using a Brush.

Minecraft spiders only attack at night or when provoked and are unaffected by sunlight. Players can create a spider farm by locating a spider spawner, typically found in dungeons or mineshafts, and following specific steps to build the farm. These steps include encircling the spawner with torches, constructing a spawning floor, creating a collector system with water, designing a grinder (manual or automatic), preventing spiders from climbing, and activating the farm by removing the torches. Enhancing spawn rates can be achieved by stacking multiple spawners and channeling them to a single grinder.

Mojang announced the 'Vibrant Visuals' update for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft, which will enhance the game's graphics with features like volumetric lighting, improved reflections, and subsurface scattering for foliage. The update will also add detail to mobs and items, such as glowing spider eyes and illuminating torches. It is purely cosmetic, leaving gameplay mechanics unchanged and ensuring compatibility for players in the same realm. The update will be tested on various devices, with a beta version to be released soon, and plans to extend it to the Java Edition are in place.
