New on Java Realms: Sabines takeover

Beaconators has introduced over 40 new items, bringing the total to 200 unique items, along with quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Songs of Greavesoyl added six new community-created characters, eight new maps, Player vs. Player and Free-for-All game modes, and a revamped lobby and user interface. Chill N’Grill now supports Swedish, Ukrainian, and Romanian languages, and includes new badges, cosmetics, currencies, and an inventory management system. Bug fixes have been implemented in several modes, enhancing stability. The Back on Realms initiative has reintroduced modes like Anaglyph and Toy Turtle Royale. 007 First Light’s PC performance isn’t quite martini-smooth, but it’s a damn sight better than that stuttering reveal footage

Mark is reviewing the performance of the game 007 First Light on PC. Initial footage revealed framerate dips during intense action sequences, but after five hours of gameplay, the release build appears more stable, though some performance discrepancies remain. DLSS 4.5’s Dynamic MFG tool needs further fine-tuning. DLSS upscaling provides significant framerate improvements, especially on Quality mode with RTX 5080 at 4K and RTX 5050 at 1080p, where visuals are sharper than AMD FSR. A GTX 1070 struggled to maintain 30fps at native 1080p but improved to 45-50fps with Quality FSR. Performance fluctuations occur even on robust setups, with the RTX 5050 averaging 60fps in NPC-heavy scenarios but dropping to 45fps during action sequences. Frame generation enhances visual smoothness for RTX users but is not available for AMD or GeForce GTX GPUs. The classic 2x multiplier for DLSS frame generation improved framerates but higher multipliers may introduce lag and artifacting. Dynamic MFG has potential but requires careful adjustment to avoid performance issues. The game shows solid technical performance, benefiting from high-end hardware while remaining accessible to a broader audience, with optional ray tracing enhancing visuals.

Path of Exile 2’s complete endgame redesign is great for everyone, especially newcomers

Grinding Gear Games unveiled the upcoming Path of Exile 2 patch 0.5, titled "Return of the Ancients," which includes nearly 900 words of updates. The patch features a comprehensive redesign of the endgame, introducing new systems like Atlas Ascendancies and league-specific features such as Runes of Aldur. The Runes of Aldur league involves rescuing a blacksmith and activating remnants for rewards, including over 100 new runes and a new stat called Runic Ward. A new currency type, Alloys, allows crafting modifiers on items. The endgame has a revamped structure with fixed league mechanics and unique quest lines, culminating in encounters with the Arbiter of Ash and a mysterious ultimate boss. All four launch mechanics have received upgrades, and quality-of-life improvements include in-game build guides and enhanced market features. Two new Ascendancies, the Spirit Walker Huntress and Martial Artist Monk, will be introduced, along with new unique items like Raven's Flock. Black Ops 7 is finally getting one of Call of Duty’s most iconic maps

Summit, a popular map from Call of Duty, will return in Black Ops 7 as part of the Season 3 Reloaded patch. Originally introduced in Black Ops 1, it features a research facility on a snowy mountain with narrow corridors and a central research room. Summit has been updated with visual enhancements and advanced technology while retaining its iconic cable cars. Additionally, Hacienda from Black Ops 4 will also return, alongside new maps like Onsen and Ascent Freerun. The update includes new weapons such as the Siren special weapon and a Katana melee option, as well as a new Zombies map called Totenreich. Your Samsung phone just got a big upgrade for editing photos, videos, and documents

Google Might Reverse the Controversial Photos App Editor Redesign

Google is planning to revise its Photos app redesign due to user feedback on usability issues. The update will reintegrate elements of the previous editor interface, including direct access to essential tools like Crop, Adjust, and Filters, which will return to a scrollable carousel at the bottom of the editor.
