Users of major mobile operators in Russia, including T2 (formerly Tele2), MTS, MegaFon, and Beeline, are reporting significant issues with mobile internet connectivity. This situation has been corroborated by data from Downdetector, a service that tracks outages and disruptions across various platforms.
The most pronounced disruptions are being felt in Saint Petersburg and the surrounding Leningrad region. However, complaints have also emerged from other areas, including Moscow, Tula, and Tver, indicating a broader scope of the issue.
In addition to mobile internet outages, users are experiencing difficulties accessing popular online services. Notably, gaming platform Steam, the torrent tracker RuTracker, and the content platform Zen have all reported connectivity problems. These issues appear to be affecting users both within Russia and internationally, suggesting a more extensive network disruption.
