In a recent communication to its dedicated fanbase and prospective players, Krafton has issued an open letter concerning their upcoming life simulation game, inZOI. The developers have made it clear that they will be implementing strict measures against any attempts to engage with illegal content related to the game. This includes:
Prohibited Activities
- Utilizing and/or distributing unauthorized copies of inZOI;
- Manipulating game data or making unauthorized alterations;
- Creating or using websites for illegal downloads.
The implications of this list are significant; players may find themselves banned not only for launching pirated versions of the game but also for installing seemingly harmless modifications. Although the developers have previously indicated plans to introduce official mod support for inZOI, this feature is not expected to be available until May. Furthermore, the methods by which Krafton intends to monitor those who download pirated copies via torrents remain unclear.
inZOI is currently being developed for PC and is set to enter early access on Steam on March 28. Meanwhile, players can explore the character creation and building editor for free, allowing them a sneak peek into the game’s potential.
