PlayStation Exclusive Makes Its Way to PC
In a notable shift within the gaming landscape, one of PlayStation’s flagship titles, The Last of Us 2, has officially made its debut on PC via Steam. However, the release has not been without controversy, as the game was swiftly pirated, appearing on torrent sites within mere minutes of its launch.
The available version is a repackaged file, approximately 116 GB in size, which players can easily access without the need for a traditional installation process. A simple extraction followed by launching the executable file is all that is required to dive into the game. Notably, this PC port features a complete Russian language translation, catering to a broader audience.
Enhancements have been made to the graphics, allowing for support of both wide and ultra-wide monitors, which significantly elevates the visual experience. Additionally, the PC version introduces Steam achievements, providing players with new goals to pursue. Performance improvements are also noteworthy, thanks to the integration of advanced technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience.
Moreover, players will find an array of new cosmetic items to personalize their gaming experience, along with 50 points that can be used to unlock additional features and concept art, further enriching the overall engagement with the game.
