Bend Studio has recently unveiled a remastered version of its original zombie action game, Days Gone. This updated iteration has notably been released without any anti-piracy measures, a decision that has been swiftly capitalized on by hackers from Rune.
Portable Version Emerges
In a surprising turn of events, the remastered Days Gone has made its way onto the “green steam” platform in a Portable format. This version is packaged as unpacked folders, allowing players to bypass traditional installation processes. The game occupies approximately 62 GB of space on a hard drive, making it relatively easy to manage for users.
The original Days Gone debuted on PlayStation in 2019 and has since garnered a dedicated following. The remaster not only brings graphical enhancements but also introduces several new features:
- Horde Mode
- Arcade mode with a single life or speed challenges
- Game speed settings
- New graphical modes for the PS5 version, including an “Enhanced” mode with PSSR support for PS5 Pro
These improvements aim to elevate the gaming experience, catering to both new players and returning fans eager to revisit the post-apocalyptic world of Days Gone.
