Silent Hill f: A New Chapter in Horror Gaming
KONAMI, in collaboration with NeoBards Entertainment, has unveiled the latest installment in the Silent Hill franchise, titled Silent Hill f. This iteration takes players on a chilling journey through a reimagined version of the iconic psychological horror setting, now set in 1960s Japan. The official release is scheduled for September 25, but those who pre-ordered the Deluxe version have already gained early access.
In a surprising move, the developers opted not to implement anti-piracy measures for the game. This decision has been quickly capitalized on by hackers from Rune, who have made the game available in a Portable version on unofficial platforms. The unprotected format allows players to access the game without installation, requiring approximately 47 GB of storage on their hard drives.
The narrative centers around the protagonist, Hinako Shimizu, a high school student residing in the secluded town of Ebisu Gaoka. As her once-familiar world descends into chaos, enveloped by thick fog and grotesque monsters, Hinako must navigate through a series of intricate puzzles. Her journey promises to explore the delicate balance between beauty and horror, inviting players to discover the profound depths of fear intertwined with the allure of the unknown.
