Hello Windows Insiders, today marks the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26300.8155 (KB 5083822) to the Dev Channel. This update brings a variety of changes and improvements, categorized into two main areas: new features and notable fixes. These enhancements are being gradually rolled out for those who have opted in to receive the latest updates via Settings > Windows Update.
Changes and Improvements gradually being rolled out with toggle on*
[Input]

These haptic effects can be customized in Settings under Bluetooth & devices > Mouse > Haptic signals.
Feedback: Share your thoughts in the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Input and Language > Mouse.
[Xbox mode]
- The Xbox full screen experience has been rebranded as Xbox mode.
- An enhanced first-run experience has been introduced for users entering Xbox mode.
Feedback: We welcome your insights in the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Gaming and Xbox > Gaming Full Screen Experience.
[Other]
- Performance improvements have been made for launching startup apps after boot, specifically those listed under Settings > Apps > Startup.
- Resolved an issue that prevented certain apps from signing in, which erroneously indicated an internal connection problem despite an active internet connection.
- Addressed a crash that affected some Insiders’ ability to print with the latest builds.
Reminders for Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel
- Updates are based on Windows 11, version 25H2 through an enablement package (Build 26300.8155).
- Features are rolled out using Controlled Feature Rollout technology, beginning with a select group of Insiders and gradually expanding as feedback is collected.
- The desktop watermark displayed in the lower right corner is standard for Windows Insider pre-release builds.
- For those eager to receive features gradually rolled out to you, enable the toggle for the latest updates via Settings > Windows Update. Over time, we will increase the rollout of features to all users with the toggle activated. If you choose to keep this toggle off, new features will be introduced to your PC over time as they become ready.
- Some features and experiences included in these builds may not be released, as we explore various concepts and gather feedback. Features may evolve, be removed, or replaced, and may not extend beyond Windows Insiders. Certain features could appear in future Windows releases when they’re ready.
- Features in active development may not be fully localized initially, with localization occurring as features are finalized. If you encounter localization issues in your language, please report them via the Feedback Hub.
