This experimental app is currently available exclusively for personal Google accounts, with the company advising users to expect some bugs as it undergoes testing. However, its core functionality stands out for its simplicity and effectiveness. Once installed, users can easily activate the search feature by pressing Alt+Space or a customizable shortcut at any time. This action brings up a floating Google search bar, allowing for quick queries without disrupting workflow.
The search results appear in a compact window directly beneath the bar, providing a seamless experience. Notably, the app also integrates select Knowledge Graph content, enabling users to receive relevant information without needing to complete their queries fully.
