Microsoft has unveiled the initial preview build of Windows 11 version 26H1, specifically for Insiders in the Canary Channel. However, the tech giant has clarified that this release is not intended to serve as the next feature update for Windows 11. Rather, version 26H1 is designed to facilitate support for forthcoming next-generation silicon.

In a recent blog post, Microsoft emphasized, “26H1 is not a feature update for version 25H2 and only includes platform changes to support specific silicon.
