New Samsung Internet update for Windows brings two improvements

Samsung has unveiled a fresh update for its Samsung Internet app on Windows, now available in version 29.0.0.146. This update introduces two notable enhancements aimed at refining the user experience.

Key Improvements

  • Enhanced Homepage Shortcut Icons: Users will notice an improvement in the delayed display of added homepage shortcut icons, making navigation smoother and more intuitive.
  • Improved Search Bar Visibility: The update also focuses on enhancing the visibility of text entered in the search bar on the home page, ensuring that users can easily see what they are typing.

To take advantage of these updates, users can simply open the Samsung Internet browser, click on the hamburger menu icon located in the top-left corner, and navigate to Settings. From there, selecting About Samsung Internet will prompt the browser to check for any available updates. If a new version is detected, it will automatically download, providing an option to relaunch the app for installation.

In related news, Google is also rolling out an update for Chrome on Android, which now features a ‘Show Reading mode’ option accessible from the menu on every web page. However, many users find that Samsung Internet’s reading mode remains more user-friendly and convenient.

For Samsung phone users, there’s additional content to explore. A recent video discusses the potential changes to the Camera app with One UI 8.5, raising questions about its impact on user experience.
