Today marks a significant moment for those engaged in the Windows ecosystem, as we unveil Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.5552 (KB5052077) to the Release Preview Channel. This update is tailored for Insiders currently utilizing Windows 10, version 22H2, and it brings a host of enhancements and fixes designed to refine your experience.
Among the noteworthy features included in this update are:
- [Daylight Saving Time (DST)] – This update now accommodates the recent changes in DST for Paraguay, ensuring that your timekeeping remains accurate and reliable.
- [Input Method Editor (IME)]
- Fixed an issue where the Chinese IME would become unresponsive when users altered the font family or size.
- Addressed the color contrast ratio of the Chinese IME search suggestion panel, enhancing visibility and usability.
- [dwm.exe] – Resolved the recurring issue where the desktop window manager would stop responding, improving system stability.
- [Country and Operator Settings Asset] – This update refreshes COSA profiles for select mobile operators, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- [Narrator]
- Fixed an issue where the Narrator failed to accurately announce the quick action buttons in the Chinese IME candidate window.
- Resolved the oversight where the control type for the Chinese IME suggestion opt-in item was not announced.
- Corrected the issue where the heading of the Chinese IME suggestion opt-in panel was not read aloud.
- [Open Secure Shell (OpenSSH) (known issue)] – Fixed the service startup failure that hindered SSH connections. Users will need to manually run the sshd.exe process, as detailed logging is currently unavailable.
