Hello Windows Insiders,
Latest Update for Windows 10 Enthusiasts
Today marks a significant step forward for those engaged in the Windows Insider Program, as we unveil Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.5794 (KB5055612). This release is now available in the Release Preview Channel for Insiders operating on Windows 10, version 22H2.
This update brings a host of enhancements designed to improve your experience. Below are the key features and improvements included in this release:
- [Graphics] A fix has been implemented for the GPU paravirtualization check within Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2). Previously, this check was case-sensitive, which could potentially hinder GPU paravirtualization support. This adjustment aims to streamline functionality and enhance user experience.
- [OS Security] Updates have been made to the Windows Kernel Vulnerable Driver Blocklist (DriverSiPolicy.p7b). This includes the addition of drivers that harbor security vulnerabilities, specifically those exploited in Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) attacks. These proactive measures are designed to bolster system security and protect users from potential threats.
We appreciate your continued participation and feedback as we strive to enhance the Windows experience.
Thanks,
The Windows Insider Program Team
