The impending “end of life” for Windows 10 is set for October 14, 2025. After this date, the operating system will no longer receive essential security updates or bug fixes. This cessation of support poses a significant risk, particularly for organizations that manage sensitive information, such as hospitals, law firms, and insurance companies. Without timely updates, Windows 10 PCs will become increasingly susceptible to cyber threats, leaving users exposed to potential attacks.
This scenario is not unfamiliar to Microsoft. The company previously navigated similar waters when support for Windows 7 ended in January 2020, followed by Windows 8 in early 2023. Now, nearly a decade after its launch, Windows 10 finds itself in a comparable situation.
