- Two new game drops: Mojang’s Agnes Larsson introduced the next game drop, Bundles of Bravery, designed to assist players in overcoming challenges and sharing resources. Additionally, hardcore mode is set to make its debut on Bedrock. The next vanilla game drop features include:
- New biome: The pale garden, an eerie landscape adorned with pale oak trees and hanging moss, sets the stage for the new features.
- New mob: The creaking, a tree-like entity that remains motionless when spotted by players, concealing a secret that players must discover to defeat it.
- New living block: The creaking heart, which may resemble wood but harbors hidden secrets waiting to be uncovered.
- Thirteen new pale oak wood set recipes: Players can look forward to crafting items such as pale oak boats, fence gates, signs, and more, expanding their building possibilities.
- New blocks: Pale moss, a white variant that can spread to nearby blocks using bone meal, and hanging pale moss, reminiscent of spider webs, which can be harvested with shears or a tool enchanted with Silk Touch.
- New Minecraft Movie Segment: Mojang’s Torfi Frans Olafsson and film director Jared Hess shared insights into the creative process behind A Minecraft Movie, discussing the motivations for bringing the beloved game to the big screen.
- Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue: Viewers were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at this new immersive experience, set to premiere in Dallas on October 18th, produced in collaboration with partner Experience Mod.
