In a significant move for the gaming industry, Koei Tecmo has announced the appointment of Hisashi Koinuma as its new chief executive officer, effective April 1st, 2025. Koinuma, who previously held the role of chief operating officer, has also served as president and general manager of the company’s entertainment division, bringing a wealth of experience to his new position.

The company emphasized that this transition has been in the works, with careful discussions held within the Nomination and Compensation Committee to ensure a smooth leadership change.
