PowerWash Simulator reaches 17m players

PowerWash Simulator has reached an impressive milestone, with over 17 million players engaging with the game since its initial launch. This announcement comes from developer FuturLab, coinciding with the exciting news of a sequel in development. Originally released in Early Access in 2021, the game had already garnered a substantial following, with 12 million players reported by April 2024. The recent surge of five million new players within just 11 months highlights the title’s enduring appeal, particularly as it progresses through its lifecycle.

FuturLab’s Vision for the Future

Chris Mehers, COO of FuturLab, expressed the team’s enthusiasm regarding the sequel announcement, stating, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to finally announce the sequel to one of our most successful titles.” The success of PowerWash Simulator has empowered the studio to take on the challenge of self-publishing its sequel, a venture they are eager to embrace.

With a dedicated player base and a commitment to enhancing the gaming experience, FuturLab is poised to deliver the next evolution in the PowerWash Simulator series. The acquisition of FuturLab by Miniclip in April 2024 further solidifies their position in the gaming industry, providing additional resources and support as they embark on this new chapter.
