Minecraft New Update 3.18 Applies Fixes via Bedrock 1.21.101

Mojang has unveiled a new patch for Minecraft, designed to rectify various issues stemming from the experimental game drop features introduced just last week. For console gamers, this update is identified as version 3.18/1.027, specifically for the Bedrock version 1.21.101.

While categorized as a minor update, it is one that players are likely to appreciate, especially considering the array of bugs that have been addressed.

Fixes:

  • Resolved several crashes that could disrupt gameplay.
  • Addressed a crash that occurred when treatment packs were removed during game loading or while entering a world.
  • Corrected the grass color in both Swamps and Mangrove Swamps (MCPE-223910).
  • Ensured Firefly Bush particles now appear in their intended locations (MCPE-225267).
  • Increased the frequency of Firefly Bush generation (MCPE-226072).
  • Fixed an issue where items were not being placed correctly into Bundles when interacting with Hoppers.
  • Resolved a problem on PlayStation 5 where downloading large packs while joining Realms and multiplayer worlds could sometimes fail.
  • Corrected an issue where the command selector ‘c=-1’ would not return the furthest matching entity (MCPE-226102).

This update wraps up the current fixes, although it wouldn’t be surprising to see another patch released before the next significant content drop arrives. For those engaged with the Preview build, an update was also rolled out yesterday, featuring a more extensive list of changes. Keep an eye on MP1st for future updates from Mojang.
