CI Games Confirms Development of Lords of the Fallen Sequel

Exciting news for fans of dark fantasy action-RPGs – CI Games has officially announced that a sequel to Lords of the Fallen is currently in development. The highly anticipated game is set to be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store.

CI Games revealed that they have signed an exclusive deal with Epic Games, granting them worldwide distribution rights on the PC platform for the entire product life cycle. This partnership is sure to bring the game to a wide audience of players.

The upcoming sequel, powered by Unreal Engine 5, promises to be a thrilling reboot of the original Lords of the Fallen game that was first released in 2014. Developed by CI Games studio Hexworks, the new installment is set over 1,000 years after the events of the original game.

Players will take on the role of the legendary Dark Crusaders, embarking on a mission to overthrow the formidable demon God known as Adyr. The game’s immersive storyline and captivating gameplay are sure to keep players on the edge of their seats.

Upon its release in October 2023, Lords of the Fallen received positive reviews and quickly gained popularity among gamers. With impressive scores on review aggregation sites like Metacritic and over one million sales within the first 10 days, the game has proven to be a hit.

However, recent leaks from the Epic Games Store database have hinted at even more exciting developments in the world of gaming. Titles such as The Last of Us Part 2, a Final Fantasy 9 remake, and a new Turok title were among the leaked information.

In response to the leaks, Epic Games took action to prevent any further unauthorized access to their upcoming projects. A spokesperson for the company stated that they have implemented updates to ensure the security of their unreleased titles.
