Bushiroad Games and WonderPlanet Announce New Game
Bushiroad Games and WonderPlanet have announced Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor, a new roguelite action game for Android and iOS. The game is set to launch in 2026 as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases, and a teaser trailer has been released alongside the opening of the official website.
Game Overview
According to the official website, Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor is the first survival roguelite game based on the popular Hunter x Hunter series. Players will control unique characters and battle against hordes of enemies. The game features simple controls for accessibility but also requires strategic decisions for party formation and skill combinations. Boss battles will include various challenges to create intense combat experiences.
Bushiroad Games has previously collaborated with Arc System Works and Eighting to release the 3v3 fighting game Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The latest Season Pass trailer has teased upcoming DLC characters for the game, including Phinks Magcub, Shizuku Murasaki, and Zeno Zoldyck.
Neferpitou is set to be the first DLC character for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact this fall, followed by Phinks Magcub in winter 2025, Shizuku Murasaki in spring 2026, and Zeno Zoldyck in summer 2026.
Update on Hunter x Hunter Manga
Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter manga is currently on indefinite hiatus due to his health. Togashi recently underwent surgery and is in recovery. The latest chapter, chapter 410, was released on December 8, 2024. Fans can catch up on the series by reading on Manga Plus and VIZ Media.
