Microsoft continues to roll out updates for users enrolled in the Windows Insider Program, with new builds now available for both the Dev and Beta channels. The latest cumulative update, KB5067109, allows Dev channel users to upgrade to Windows 11 version 25H2, build 26220.6982, while those in the Beta channel will move to version 24H2, build 26120.6982.
New Features and Enhancements
This update introduces several noteworthy features and improvements designed to enhance user experience:
- Copy & Search: A new functionality that allows users to search for text copied to the Clipboard directly from the Taskbar. When text is copied, a Paste icon appears next to the Search box, enabling a seamless search experience for the copied content.
- Voice Typing Improvements: Users can now customize the “Wait time before acting” option in Voice Typing. This feature allows for a delay before a voice command is executed, catering to different speech patterns and improving accuracy whether users speak slowly or quickly.
- Proactive Memory Diagnostics: In a bid to enhance system reliability, this feature will notify users if their PC experiences a blue screen and restarts, suggesting a memory scan during the next reboot. If any issues are detected and resolved, users will receive a notification regarding the findings.
- Other Changes: The update also brings enhancements to Device Cards in Settings, improved information in Settings > About, a scrollable Settings search flyout, and hints in Click to Do to help users discover Actions. Additionally, the search box in the new Start menu has been aligned with the one in Search, along with various other fixes and improvements.
These updates reflect Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to refining the Windows 11 experience, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and enhancements as they navigate their digital environments.
