You can now try the Xbox Full Screen Experience on any PC, laptop, or tablet

Microsoft is set to enhance the gaming experience for PC users by introducing the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE). This feature, which offers a console-like user interface for navigating game libraries, is now expanding beyond its initial availability on PC handhelds to include laptops, desktops, and tablets.

The rollout of FSE coincides with new Windows Insider Preview Builds available on both the Dev and Beta channels, as well as for participants in the Xbox Insider Program. Users can activate FSE by hovering over the Task View icon on their taskbar and selecting the Xbox Full Screen Experience option. Alternatively, it can be accessed through the Game Bar settings or by using the shortcut Win + F11.

However, it is important to note that access to FSE may not be immediate for all Windows Insiders, as Microsoft is implementing a gradual rollout of this feature. Additionally, users will need to have the Xbox app installed from the Microsoft Store to utilize FSE.

As of the latest updates, Microsoft has also begun to extend FSE to all Windows-based handheld devices, further solidifying its commitment to enhancing the gaming experience across various platforms.
